Each year, during the summer months, Siena hosts an important cultural and musical event that draws visitors from far and wide. A two-week long party, this event revolves around the beauty and splendor of jazz music.

Bands and solo artists and homegrown and international stars all come out to perform spectacular shows for the city, but the event is also open to emerging musicians who want to play their very best to an enthusiastic crowd.

Training courses organised by the Siena Jazz Music Education school are also available during the event. The lessons are headed by some of the best music teachers in all of Europe and e event is an important occasion for those who are just beginning to love jazz music and for those who loved it for decades.
